Pumpkin Miso & Ginger Soup/Puree

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cubed pumpkin
  • 1 small sweet potato roughly 3/4 cup
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp miso allergen*
  • 1/2 tsp finely grated ginger
  • 2 cups bone broth

Instructions
 

  • Peel and cube the pumpkin and sweet potato into equal sized pieces. Add them to a pot
  • Peel and dice the garlic clove and add that to the pot with the finely grated ginger, miso and bone broth
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer uncovered for roughly 25 minutes until the vegetables are soft
  • Pour into a blender and blend until smooth

Notes

AGE APPROPRIATE: when tolerating soy (miso), or you can omit
