If using frozen berries, place in a small saucepan over a low heat with the 1 TBSP of water or juice, and the date (if using fresh berries start at step 3)
Let it simmer over a low heat until the berries are warm and soft.
Place the berry mixture into a blender (if using fresh berries, add to a blender here with the date and water/juice). Blend until completely smooth.
Place in a 300mL jar, then add the chia seeds and stir until combined. Leave out on the benchtop and give the jar a shake or stir every 5 or so minutes so the mixture doesnt clump. After 20 minutes you can store it in the fridge, lasts about 1 week in the fridge or you can freeze into ice cubes!
