Ingredients
1cupdrained and rinsed chickpeasOr 1 cup cooked from dried chickpeas
1TBSPparsley or basil chopped finely
1/4cupcassava flourbuckwheat should also work, or all-purpose or spelt flour if gluten is tolerated
1/2tspgarlic powder
1/2tspcumin powder
2TBSPfiltered water
1TBSPghee or olive oil or coconut oil
Instructions
In a bowl or food processor the chickpeas, herbs, flour, cumin and garlic powder. Add the water and either use a fork or masher or your food processor to combine ingredients until mostly smooth and combined.
Divide into 6 thin patties with your hands
In a frying pan, heat the oil and ghee, then add the fritters and cook until browned and cooked through on both sides (about 3 mins each side)
