Mushroom, Macadamia & Miso 'Mince'

Equipment

  • 1 Fry Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 100 grams mushroom
  • 30 grams macadamias
  • 10 grams miso
  • 200 grams tinned diced tomatoes
  • 50 grams water
  • 2 tsp ghee or olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Finely dice the mushrooms 
  • Crush and finely dice the macadamias 
  • Heat a fry pan over a high heat and add in the ghee or olive oil
  • To the pan add the miso, macadamias and mushrooms and cook on high for three minutes 
  • Pour in the diced tomatoes and water and bring to a simmer. Cook for a further two minutes

Notes

Age Appropriate: once tolerating macadamia nuts (tree nut allergen) and soy (miso)
Able to be frozen: yes 
* This can be served as is or served with your choice of pulse pasta or roasted vegetables
