Yoghurt Bark

Equipment

  • Baking Tray
  • Utensils

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups  Greek yoghurt Coconut yoghurt for DF
  • 2 TBSP  nut butter of choice allergen
  • 2 handfuls toppings of choice

Topping Ideas

  • Berries chopped finely
  • Activated Buckwheat Omit under 18 months
  • Cacao Nibs Omit under 18 months
  • Hemp Seeds
  • Sliced Banana
  • Sliced Mango
  • Pomegranate Seeds Omit under 18 months
  • Crushed Nuts Crush to a 'dust' under 12 months

Instructions
 

  • Line baking tray with baking paper
  • Pour yoghurt into the tray and spread until it is a thin layer
  • Drizzle with nut butter (if using)
  • Now for the fun part - ask your toddler to help sprinkle your chosen toppings on top of the yoghurt.
  • Place in the freezer for a couple of hours, once frozen, you can break it all apart together and enjoy. For young babies, break very large pieces off - it will melt as they eat it - you can let it soften a bit before you offer as well

AGE APPROPRIATE: 2 meals a day+
Benefits: 
You can choose any topping that suits your fancy, and you can easily make this recipe dairy free if you swap the greek yogurt with coconut yoghurt.
 
Notes:
Can be made nut-free by swapping the nut butter for tahini, or simply omit altogether.
 
Keep stored in the freezer for up to 3 months in a freezer proof container
