AGE APPROPRIATE: When on one meal+ a day

Recipe is from my best selling book – Milk to Meals.

One of my most popular recipes (for babies, toddlers and adults!) is my gut-loving gelatin gummies. They are so easy to make, and are such an amazing food because they are not only yummy, they also have so many nutritional benefits!

Optimally, we would be consuming bone broths, slow cooked meats with bones etc daily to get our gelatin intake, but in our modern society we definitely all cook a bit differently to our ancestors, and we are much more on the go – so these QUICK gummies can offer you the benefits without having to cook all day! Gelatin is an incredible super food – it boosts immunity, repairs your digestive tract, helps your skin health, reduces inflammation, balances hormones, curbs cravings and strengthens teeth. Whilst I love and my older children love gummies made out of a lovely cold-pressed juice, for babies I prefer to try and stay away from fruit juices as long as possible and instead use a liquid that isn’t as sweet.. this is why chamomile tea can make such a lovely gummy for your baby (suitable any age once started solids) Chamomile tea is a beautiful and gentle herb, with some lovely anti-inflammatory properties. It can help to aid digestion, assist with constipation, assist with cramping associated with diarrhoea and also can help with the pains associated with teething. You can offer chamomile tea in small amounts as a drink (not to displace breastmilk or formula under 12 months) or in the form of this gummy for a lovely little snack for your baby.
