You can choose any topping that suits your fancy, and you can easily make this recipe dairy-free if you swap the greek yogurt with coconut yoghurt.

Yoghurt Bark

GF | EF | RSF | can be DF and NF

  • Nut Butter
  • Baking Tray
  • Freezer
  • Utensils
  • 2 cups   greek yoghurt of choice – can be naturally flavoured or plain – or coconut yoghurt for dairy free!
  • 2 TBSP  nut butter of choice (see notes)
  • 2 handfuls of toppings of choice
  1. Line baking tray with baking paper

  2. Pour yoghurt into the tray and spread until it is a thin layer

  3. Drizzle with nut butter (if using)

  4. Now for the fun part – ask your toddler to help sprinkle your chosen toppings on top of the yoghurt.

  5. Place in the freezer for a couple of hours, once frozen, you can break it all apart together and enjoy. For young babies, break very large pieces off – it will melt as they eat it – you can let it soften a bit before you offer as well

Topping ideas:
Chopped finely berries
Activated buckinis (over 18 months)
Cacao nibs (over 18 months)
Hemp seeds
Sliced banana
Sliced mango
Pomegranate seeds (over 18 months)
Crushed nuts (crush to fine dust for under 12 months)
Notes:
Can be made nut-free by swapping the nut butter for tahini, or simply omit altogether.
Keep stored in the freezer for up to 3 months in a freezer proof container
