Christmas Trees

Hey Boob to Food crew! Today, we’re keeping it real simple and fun in the kitchen with a toddler-approved recipe – Avocado Christmas Trees. Because, let’s be honest, making food should be a joy, especially with your little one by your side.

Grab an avocado, some sourdough, and your favourite veggies – that’s all you need. No need for gourmet chef skills here!

Get your mini-me involved, and let’s turn these ingredients into adorable Christmas Trees. It’s like crafting, but edible and delicious. 🎄👶

Christmas Trees

  • 1/4 ripe avocado
  • 1 TBSP chopped veg of choice (eg. capsicum, carrot, peas)
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices sourdough bread (or bread of choice)
  • salt to taste (optional over 12 months)
  1. Cut two large triangles out of two slices of sourdough. Save a little extra bread for the tree stump

  2. Mash the avocado and spread it into the bread, seasoning with salt

  3. Cut the cheese stars out with a small star cookie cutter and place the cheese star on the tops of the trees

  4. Top with the chopped veggies and chop the bread to the shape of your tree stumps
