Apple fritters

GF | DF | RSF | NF – contains egg
Course 1 meal a day, Baby Led Weaning, BLW, Snack
Servings 3 fritters

Equipment

  • 1 bowl
  • 1 Frying Pan
  • 1 Plate

Ingredients
  

  • 1 apple grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp heaped cassava flour (could also use spelt or buckwheat)
  • 1 sprinkle cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp Ghee or coconut oil to cook in

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients except ghee to a bowl, stir to combineMelt ghee in a frying pan over medium heat
  • Once pan is hot, add the batter in small fritters (I made 3) and pan fry on both sides until cooked through
  • Serve as a whole fritter or cut into finger shape sizes for your baby or toddler

Notes

Age appropriate: when tolerating egg
Freezer friendly: yes
*spread with nut butter for extra nutrients!!
