GF | EF | NF – Can be DF if coconut kefir is used
- Blender
- Saucepan
- Tray
- Whisk
- cup
- 1 cup milk kefir
- 1 large ripe spotty banana
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 2.5 tbsp gelatin
- 1/2 cup water
Bloom the gelatin by adding the gelatin to the water and stirring well. Set aside to thicken
In the meantime, add the kefir, banana and sweetener if using into a blender and blend until smooth
Once the gelatin has thickened, heat it in a saucepan over a low heat until the gelatin has dissolved, then pour it into the blender with the kefir and banana
Blend until incorporated then pour into gummy moulds or a tray to set in the fridge for two hours before consuming
Age Appropriate: Once tolerating dairy
Freezer Friendly: No
* NOTE I recommend eating these within two days of preparing as the banana will cause them to discolour if left any longer
