Baby Liver Pate
Introducing liver to babies doesn’t have to mean serving chunks of liver on a plate. This silky smooth pate is...
Gut loving Dahl
Dahl is the perfect postpartum food, and also a great food for your baby when introducing lentils (around 8 months). It is easy to pre-prepare, it freezes well, is warming with aromatic spices , high protein, contains essential fats in the coconut milk and cooking in bone broth will aid digestion and provide you with gelatin for gut health. This recipe is also rich in anti-inflammatory, immune boosting foods and spices such as ginger, turmeric and garlic, which is essential in the winter months!
Veggie-Bomb 'Pasta' Sauce
I’ve been promising to type this recipe up for way too long, and to be honest I have been putting it off because even though I have been making this recipe for years, it changes every time I make it! But, I have come to realise that thats the beauty of this recipe, it can be changed and ingredients substituted and it still seems to taste amazing no matter the way you make it!So, why does it change each time? Well, the beauty of this recipe is that it is the epitome of #nowaste - this recipe has been designed to use all of those old, sad, forgotten about vegetables wilting in the bottom of your fridge at the end of the week that would most likely otherwise go to waste! And if you are anything like me, those vegetables vary every week.
Bone Broth-Sicles
You all are probably well aware of my love of bone broth by now, but I hear you, sometimes it’s hard to incorporate in your toddlers diet, or when practicing a Baby-Led Weaning style of feeding your baby! These little brothsicles are perfect for this, and for toddlers too! Yummy and cooling on sore gums you can also use as the perfect teether!
Chicken Bone Broth
Chicken broth!! My favourite broth would have to be chicken broth - the taste is sweet and delicious to drink alone or to add to most foods, its highly nutritious, it’s easy to make AND you can save time by cooking a whole chicken then having dinners/lunches sorted for the week
Roasted Bone Marrow
Have you introduced bone marrow to your baby yet? Bone marrow might seem like an odd first food to feed baby, however it is a forgotten nutrition powerhouse (also amazing for pregnancy and postpartum mamas too!)
Apple Almond Grain-free Porridge
I have been eating this beautiful grain-free porridge for a few months now, and I love that its a meal I can share with the kids. Safe to have from 6 months of age once introduced to almonds and ghee (allergens). It freezes well or you can keep it in the fridge a few days.
Chia Gel
They are really nutrient dense - which means a small amount goes a long way, which is especially important for our babes! They are high in fibre, protein, omega 3 fatty acids, calcium and magnesium. They are also an amazing food to help prevent and alleviate constipation.
Beef Brisket
This is one of my most POPULAR recipes, loved by all! So yummy to share with your baby, the meat is tender and soft and they just love it!!
