07 – Biologically normal sleep, tuning out the white noise of society and reclaiming the joy of motherhood with Tracy Gillett from Raised Good

There is so much noise in the parenting space, and it can feel overwhelming and hard to listen to our own intuition with all that white noise!

To help us reclaim the joy of motherhood and tune back in to our own intuition this week we speak with the wonderful Tracy Gillett. Tracy is the founder, writer and advocate behind the award-winning blog, Raised Good — a guide to natural parenting in the modern world. With millions of readers worldwide, she educates and inspires women to reclaim the wonder of motherhood and the joy of childhood by parenting without the ‘shoulds’, expectations, and white noise of society. Tracy hopes that through her many, valuable resources we will learn that the best answers to some of our questions are found within. It was a pleasure to speak with her.

In this podcast we chat to Tracy about:

  • Biologically normal sleep – what even is normal?!

  • Tuning out of judgement and criticism and back in to your intuition

  • Curiosity and connection – with our kids and ourselves

  • Drowning out the white noise of society

  • Co-sleeping and the need for better education around safe sleeping practices

  • And so much more.

We love Tracy’s gentle and empowering approach, and highly recommend you follow her on Instagram or visit the Raised Good blog for all her articles and downloadable resources, including the 5 Natural Parenting Secrets that Make Kids Want to Cooperate eBook that we mention.
