This recipe makes enough to freeze for later. I also like to use these as a nourishing pasta sauce you can take straight from the freezer.
Broccoli, Pea, Fennel Puree/Pasta Sauce
Equipment
- Blender
 - Steamer
 - cutting board
 - pot
 - Baking sheet or roasting pan
 
Ingredients
- 1 small head of broccoli
 - 3/4 cup peas
 - 1/2 avocado
 - 1 tbsp roasted fennel
 - 1 cup bone broth Or swap for vegetable stock
 
Instructions
- Wash the broccoli and remove the florets from the stem. Steam the broccoli florets until just soft, adding the peas in at the end if still frozen to steam also.
 - Add the broccoli and peas to a blender with the avocado, roasted fennel and bone broth
 - Blend until smooth
