This recipe makes enough to freeze for later. I also like to use these as a nourishing pasta sauce you can take straight from the freezer.
Broccoli, Pea, Fennel Puree/Pasta Sauce

- Blender
- Steamer
- knife
- cutting board
- pot
- Spoon or Spatula
- Measuring Cup:
- Oven
- Baking sheet or roasting pan
- Aluminum foil or parchment paper
- 1 small head of broccoli
- 3/4 cup peas
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 tbsp roasted fennel
- 1 cup bone broth

Wash the broccoli and remove the florets from the stem. Steam the broccoli florets until just soft, adding the peas in at the end if still frozen to steam also.

Add the broccoli and peas to a blender with the avocado, roasted fennel and bone broth

Blend until smooth
