Why We Wrote This Book

Because we’re parents too – juggling the same mornings, the same overwhelm, the same hopeful moment of unzipping a lunchbox at 3pm.

  • We know how draining it feels when nothing gets eaten.
  • We know how repetitive lunchboxes can feel.
  • We know how hard it is to think clearly when the morning rush is already in full swing.

And we also know how different it feels when you have a little structure, some recipes you trust, and ideas that don’t require superhuman effort.

We wrote this for mums and dads who want to nourish their kids without the pressure. For families who want simple, whole-food ideas that fit into real life. For parents who want lunchbox packing to feel manageable again – maybe even enjoyable.

10 years of lunchbox experience(thats over 3000 lunchboxes!)

We’ve spent a decade packing lunchboxes for our own kids — over 3000 lunches tested, tweaked and survived — so we know exactly what actually gets eaten, what comes home untouched, and what helps mornings run smoother. Add in the expertise of a Dietitian and Paediatric Occupational Therapist, and you get a guide that’s not just mum-tested but professionally informed. We’ve been in the trenches, we understand the pressure, and we’ve created this eBook to share the practical, realistic strategies that truly work in real homes with real kids.

Belgium (Europe) here! I recently bought the e-book cause it seemed perfect for snack and lunch box ideas for my oldest daughter of 4 yro. Everything looks so delicious and simple. Some ingrediënts are typically Australian (like Oomite), curious how this will taste! It's arriving this week! It's kind of an adventure for me this book, as I never used bento boxes for school before! I love the content of boob to food!

S
Steph

Love! Don’t even officially lunchbox yet but still find it great for during the week snacks for everyone.

Can’t get enough of these recipes! I’m so excited to get a hard copy when they are released. It takes the stress out of deciding what to put in a lunchbox with lots of fun kid-friendly ideas. I also appreciate that there are so many nut-free recipes to make it easy to take to school. I was also impressed how many options were both nut free and gluten free (or had recommendations for how to easily adjust) so the recipes are all so useable.

Honestly while all the books are amazing, this is my personal favourite. I can't wait to be able to get a physical copy.
We solely use this books for our snacks. Between the orange and raspberry tea cake and the blueberry and banana cookies, this book has so many yummy and healthy snacks your little one will love as well as some wholesome lunch ideas.
I have tried and tested almost all the recipes in here and she has not rejected a single one!

I pick 3-4 recipes from this ebook weekly and always have a fridge full of snacks ready to go! They're recipes for kids and adults. Best feeling knowing we're all nourished and the recipes are SOO easy to follow. Haven't had to buy random things I'd only use once either, massive win.

We absolutely love the Lunches book! It’s been such a handy resource for extra snack ideas and easy food to take on the go. It’s given us lots of inspiration when we’re stuck in a snack rut and need something simple, nutritious and toddler-friendly.

We especially love having ideas that work well for outings, travel and busy days when we need food we can easily pack up and take with us. It’s definitely going to be a go-to for us as she grows, and I know we’ll be coming back to it again and again for new ideas.

Can’t wait for the hard copy!!

I was feeling a bit nervous navigating sending my first to school this year, I wanted to make sure he had enough of the right foods to keep him fuelled all day at school. This e-book was amazing for that, it took so much of the weight off me and I cannot wait to purchase the hard copy!! Kids love the food too which is always a plus :D

School of Lunchboxes is so incredibly helpful for packing lunch boxes for older kids or for toddlers on days out and about. Super helpful to put together balanced nourishing snacks and I happily eat them all myself too! Lots of advice and tips on storing food and preparing/freezing items.

O
Olivia

The School of Lunchboxes has become one of those resources we genuinely use every single week.

I use it regularly for my son’s preschool lunches, but it’s also been so helpful for planning meals and snacks for both kids when we have busy weekends out and about. It takes so much of the mental load out of deciding what to pack, while still giving me confidence that the food is balanced, nourishing and something the kids will actually enjoy.

I especially love that the ideas feel realistic for everyday family life. There’s plenty of variety without everything feeling complicated or time-consuming, and it has given us lots of new options to rotate through rather than falling back on the same few lunches and snacks.

It’s a really practical resource for any parent who feels like they’re constantly packing lunchboxes or preparing food to take on the go.
