Iron-rich sauce
Equipment
- Food processor or blender
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mixed herbs of choice Eg parsley, coriander, mint, basil
- 1/2 cup baby spinach
- 1/2 avocado (medium sized)
- 1 small clove garlic (peeled)
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lime juice only
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp spirulina
Instructions
- Pop all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until completely smooth. Add more oil if necessary.
Notes
This is delicious served with vegetables, lamb cutlets, as a pasta sauce or with steak.
