Lentil patties

- Frying Pan
- 1 cup soaked and drained lentils
- cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 handfuls baby spinach leaves
- 1 egg (optional but does help it bind)
- 1 tbsp heaped cassava flour

Place all ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth batter. Add more water if needed

Heat some coconut oil or ghee in frying pan over medium heat and fry like pancakes!
AGE APPROPRIATE:
6 months+
Lentils are rich in minerals, fibre, protein and iron – nice and soft which makes a great food for your baby!
