Here’s my cultured apple-pie Bircher recipe! Easy to digest, brimming with probiotics and good bacteria to support our gut-microbiome, lots of fibre/fat/protein to balance our blood glucose and of course – an EASY, quick breakfast that can be shared by the whole family.

Equipment
- 1 bowl
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats quinoa flakes work for GF
- 3 cups kefir Can be milk or coconut, if you don’t have kefir can swap for 2 cups Greek yoghurt and 1 cup milk of choice
- 1-2 apples grated
- 2 TBSP chia seeds
- 2 TBSP hemp seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon ground
- 1 tsp vanilla extract or powder
Optional
- 1-2 TBSP maple syrup omit under 12 months
- 2 serves collagen powder
Instructions
- Add all to a bowl, stir, cover and place in the fridge overnight before serving!
