These little bites are such a simple way to pack in a powerful nutritional punch - and no, you can’t taste the liver! Sweetened naturally with dates and balanced with good fats, seeds, and cacao, they’re perfect for kids, mums, and anyone needing a grab-and-go iron boost.

Ingredients

¾ cup dried dates, soaked in boiling water for 10 minutes

½ cup sunflower seeds

½ cup sesame seeds

½ cup desiccated coconut

2 tbsp cacao powder

2 tbsp MCT oil or melted coconut oil

3 Cell Squared beef liver and spleen capsules, opened and emptied (code BOOBTOFOOD for a discount)

Method

Soak the dates in boiling water for 10 minutes, then drain.

Add the sunflower seeds to a blender or food processor and gently pulse until roughly chopped.

Add the soaked dates, sesame seeds, coconut, cacao powder, liver capsule powder, and oil. Blend or pulse until the mixture is sticky and well incorporated.

Roll into small bliss balls and store in an airtight container.

Tips & Swaps

  • Swap sunflower or sesame seeds for hemp seeds or pepitas if preferred
  • Use carob powder instead of cacao for a caffeine-free version for younger kids
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or vanilla for extra flavour.
  • Omit liver if preferred.
