Meatballs

This is a simple, tasty and nutritious meal for the whole family. Best thing about this meal is it is JAM PACKED with hidden vegetables!! 

Meatballs

Course 1 meal a day, Baby Led Weaning, BLW, Family Meals, lunchbox, Main Course

Equipment

  • 1 bowl
  • 1 Frying Pan
  • 1 Spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 500 grams beef mince
  • 1 zucchini grated
  • 1 carrots grated
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 egg or just the yolk.*allergen
  • 2 tsp whole grain mustard
  • 3 tsp parsley finely chopped
  • 2 tsp rosemary finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix with your hands until combined
  • Split into 24 even balls (or for babies do more log shaped)
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 mins
  • Fry in coconut oil or ghee or olive oil until browned

I served this with zucchini noodles (zoodles) that I made with my spiralizer and fried after I cooked the meatballs. Can also serve with lentil pulse pasta for GF option which is also higher in protein than regular wheat pasta.
