Oat Crepes

About the recipe

Oat Crepes

This recipe is a delicious and quick breakfast for the whole family to enjoy, and very loved by toddlers! We like to fill ours with chia jam and cream cheese or labneh for some extra protein (and tastes delicious!) but it’s also nice with ricotta and any berries or passionfruit pulp.

Oat Crepes

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil for frying
  1. Add the oats, milk and vanilla essence to a blender and blend on high until completely smooth.

  2. Add the eggs and pulse until mixed through.

  3. Add the butter (or cooking oil) in a frying pan on a medium heat. Once melted add the crepe mixture, about 2-3 TBSP at a time. Swirl the pan around to spread the batter and thin the mixture out.

  4. Allow to cook on one side until small bubbles are formed, then flip the crepe to the other side. Repeat this process for all the crepes (makes around 6).

  5. Once finished cooking serve with toppings of choice like chia jam, ricotta or cream cheese!
